The Immediate Past Board Chair of Meals on Wheels America, Vinsen comes to us from Meals on Wheels of Johnson and Ellis Counties where he served as the Executive Director. Vinsen is recognized locally, statewide, and nationally as an advocate for senior issues, especially senior hunger. He holds a Master’s in Public Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington School of Urban and Public Affairs.

William Truelove joined the organization in October 2019. William holds a Bachelor of Health Science, concentration in Nutrition and Epidemiology and a Master of Arts Administration concentration in Applied Administration both from the University of the Incarnate Word. Although he has worked less than one year in the field, he served 20 years in United States Army.

Heather Finerghty holds a Masters in Public Administration from UTSA and previously served with Meals on Wheels as its Development Director. She has more than a decade of nonprofit experience with several local organizations.

Forrest Myane holds a B.S. in Communications from the University of Texas at Austin and has ten years of experience in nonprofit development. She has served as Director of Development for several area agencies including the Witte Museum, Autism Community Network and Christian Assistance Ministry. Forrest oversees fundraising and marketing/communications for Meals on Wheels San Antonio.
Marycela Barron, RDN, LDN
Marycela Barron holds a B.S. in Microbiology from Texas A&M University and completed her Dietetic Internship at the University of the Incarnate Word. She joined Meals on Wheels after working as the Food Service Director in a local long-term care facility and as a clinical dietitian.

Christina Avena has a B.A in Mass Communications from Texas State University and over 15 years of experience in nonprofit work. She brings a unique combination of nonprofit experience with for-profit standards in customer service excellence and is passionate about promoting positive, healthy environments for seniors and the staff who serve them daily. Christina oversees the daily operations of Grace Place Alzheimer’s Activity Centers and is dedicated to their growth and expanding their reach within the community.
Kristin Rivera holds a B.S. in Applied Sociology from Texas State University. Her focus has always been on supporting the community with over 15 years of social service experience.
Ariana Barbour holds a B.S. in Public Relations from the University of Florida and a Master of Arts in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin. She has over 15 years of communications and marketing experience including agency, volunteer, and nonprofit work.
