The Immediate Past Board Chair of Meals on Wheels America, Vinsen comes to us from Meals on Wheels of Johnson and Ellis Counties where he served as the Executive Director. Vinsen is recognized locally, statewide, and nationally as an advocate for senior issues, especially senior hunger. He holds a Master’s in Public Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington School of Urban and Public Affairs.
William Truelove

William Truelove holds a Bachelor of Health Science, concentration in Nutrition and Epidemiology and a Master of Arts Administration concentration in Applied Administration both from the University of the Incarnate Word. Prior to working in the non-profit sector, he served 20 years in United States Army.

Michele Anzlovar

Michele Anzlovar holds a B.S.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Central Missouri.  She brings to Meals on Wheels over 15 years of non-profit leadership experience working with Social Service organizations.  Most recently she served as the CFO at The Witte Museum.

Forrest Myane

Forrest Myane holds a B.S. in Communications from the University of Texas at Austin and has ten years of experience in nonprofit development. She has served as Director of Development for several area agencies including the Witte Museum, Autism Community Network and Christian Assistance Ministry. Forrest oversees fundraising and marketing/communications for Meals on Wheels San Antonio.

Christina Avena has a B.A in Mass Communications from Texas State University and over 15 years of experience in nonprofit work. She brings a unique combination of nonprofit experience with for-profit standards in customer service excellence and is passionate about promoting positive, healthy environments for seniors and the staff who serve them daily. Christina oversees the daily operations of Grace Place Alzheimer’s Activity Centers and is dedicated to their growth and expanding their reach within the community.
