Help deliver more than a meal to seniors and disabled community members in Bexar County. You provide moments of personal connection – a smile, a heartfelt nod, a brief respite from countless hours alone.
Meals on Wheels San Antonio is excited to announce the opening of new meal distribution sites! Meal delivery volunteers deliver a nutritious meal and a wellness check to homebound and disabled neighbors in San Antonio. When you deliver, you’re helping seniors age in place and maintain independence. Prior to the pandemic, Meals on Wheels San Antonio served a hot meal every day, Monday to Friday. By volunteering, even just once a week, you can help us get back to hot meals!
Meal Delivery Volunteers deliver meals to homebound adults and seniors Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to noon.
The pick-up time is 11:00 a.m. Monday-Friday.
Check out our 2023 Holiday Delivery Schedule.
Meals on Wheels San Antonio works with community partners to offer pick-up sites throughout the city. Pick-up sites serve volunteers and clients nearest to each site. To see a list of our current sites, please see below.
Volunteers are essential to the mission of Meals on Wheels. Find out more about the volunteer experience from the volunteers themselves below!

I CAN'T VOLUNTEER FOR MEAL DELIVERY, HOW CAN I HELP?
Approximately 4,000 individuals receive 5 meals each week. Each meal costs $7 to produce. It would be greatly appreciated if you are able to make a donation of any size to support our efforts. You can donate online and via Venmo or Cash App (Username: @mowsatx). A $7 gift = more than a meal for a neighbor in need.
