We are working hard everyday to meet the needs of the community and continuously adjusting our operations for the safety and health of our clients, volunteers, and staff.

For our Volunteers
Meals will be delivered Monday–Thursday. Routes will continue being picked up from 10:00 am - 11 am from our headquarters at 4306 NW Loop 410, 78229. We will not deliver meals on Fridays as we work to minimize interactions for everyone's safety.

For the safety of our clients, all volunteers will have their temperatures checked. Anyone reading 99.5 or higher will be unable to deliver. Routes will be handed out at random, which means we will not be able to guarantee that you will get your regular routes to deliver. If you are unable to deliver or are uncomfortable delivering a route that is not yours, we understand! We also recommend that any volunteer who is 60 or older or has an underlying condition consider staying home.

If you are interested in volunteering during this time please contact Casey Parker via email (<-- click here) or call 210.735.5115.

As you may be aware, we are working to incorporate CDC practices of Social Distancing into everything we are doing, including meal pick-up and delivery.

You are amazing and we can’t begin to thank you for everything you are doing! We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to safeguard your health and the health of all of our clients, volunteers, and staff.

Thank you all for your patience!

Client Referrals
If you’ve completed a referral or called for service please know that our client services team is working as quickly as possible to reach out to everyone for intake assessments.

Donations
If you’ve mailed in a donation, or given over the phone, please know that we are working as quickly as possible to mail receipts. If you give online and provide an email address then a receipt will be emailed to you.

If you would like to make a donation to support us in providing extra food to seniors, you can do so here. You can also give via Venmo or CashApp to username mowsatx.

Again, the support of the community during this time has been invaluable and we are so appreciative of our volunteers, corporate partners, and donors.

Thank you for all your support during this time.

Stay safe!

Experience an immediate impact.

Working with Meals on Wheels Families throughout the greater San Antonio region, you are doing much more than meal delivery. You are providing moments of personal connection – a smile, a heartfelt nod, a brief respite from the countless hours alone.

Opportunities to Participate:

Due to our concern for our clients and volunteers during this worrisome COVID-19 pandemic, some of our volunteer opportunities have changed.

Your generous offers of support and interest in delivering meals to our clients during this time of uncertainty is greatly appreciated! At this moment Meals on Wheels is extending an invitation to the community to come out and volunteer. If you are interested, please contact Casey Parker for more details. It would be greatly appreciated if you are able to make a donation of any size to support our efforts. You can donate online and via Venmo or Cash App- our user name for both platforms is @mowsatx.
