No Monthly Menus at this time

Meals on Wheels San Antonio is working hard to provide meals for everyone we serve, this includes working with community partners to make sure nutritious meals are delivered. What this means is we currently  cannot provide a monthly calendar for meals. 

At this time clients will receive meal deliveries twice a week based on way they live. One group will receive meals on Mondays and Wednesdays and another group will receive meals on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Clients will receive multiple meals on each day to provide food for the days on which you will not see a Meals on Wheels San Antonio delivery person. Clients may also receive deliveries of meals at times outside of the regular delivery schedule. Additional, a member of Meals on Wheels San Antonio staff will call once a week to check in on you. Our goal is to continue to deliver meals to you and check on your safety

during this time, and we ask for your patience with the changes in the schedule.  

We will work to provide a variety of meals including the following:

  • Tacos
  • Tamales
  • Chicken Nuggets
  • Chicken Spaghetti

All meals will be chilled and can be frozen for up to 30 days from the label date. Please follow the heating instructions on the meal label. See the below video with instructions on reheating meals

While we will not be delivering hot meals, beverages or fresh fruit at this time, we will deliver additional food such as breakfast packs when possible. 

Meals will not be delivered on Fridays as we work to minimize interactions for everyone’s safety.  

Meals on Wheels San Antonio is continuing to monitor the Coronavirus situation closely. The risk to our community continues to be low but we are taking precautions to keep you well.
