April is Volunteer Appreciation Month, and we want to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to our incredible volunteers! Whether you're delivering meals, bringing pet food to furry friends, or brightening someone's day with a friendly visit, your kindness and dedication make a world of difference.
Your time, energy, and compassion help create a stronger, more connected community- one delivery and one smile at a time. We appreciate everything you do and are so grateful to have you as part of our volunteer family!

Please ensure you are checking in at the site before starting your delivery route. Scan the new QR code and enter your Bloomerang email address, then continue to confirm your check-in until you receive a “Success” message! If you are delivering more than one route, only one check-in is needed. Please call the Community Engagement team at 210-735-5115 ext. 1500 with any questions!
JOIN US FOR ANIMEALS!
AniMeals is starting early this month! Pickup for AniMeals is from 2 to 4 p.m. the week of April 7-11 at our Campus of Grace (2718 Danbury St.).
Routes are now posted - check Bloomerang Volunteer for route availability!
HOLIDAY CLOSURES
Meals on Wheels will be closed on Friday, May 2, for Fiesta San Jacinto Day, and no deliveries will be made. We'd love it if you joined us to deliver multi-packs on Thursday, May 1, before the 3-day Fiesta weekend!

April- June meal delivery routes have been posted on Bloomerang! Check out your volunteer portal to register for future meal delivery assignments. Check your email for a schedule of ongoing assignments!
FIESTA FLAMBEAU PARADE
Meals on Wheels will be walking in the Fiesta Flambeau parade this year, and we’d love to have you join us! Contact Community Engagement to express interest in walking in the parade with us!
