MEAL DELIVERY REMINDERS
As the weather heats up, it’s more important than ever to protect the health and safety of our clients. Never leave meals outside if a client is not home. Hot weather can spoil food quickly and pose health risks to our vulnerable seniors. Instead, note when clients are not home, pass the meal along on your delivery route, and call to let us know.
When a client is not at home to receive their meal, it’s critical to report back to our team so we can check in with clients and ensure their safety.
Please call 210-735-5115 ext. 1060 to report missed deliveries and note who received the extra meal.
HOLIDAY CLOSURE
As a reminder, Meals on Wheels will be closed on Monday, May 26, for Memorial Day, and no deliveries will be made. All clients will receive a multi-pack of meals on the delivery day prior to the closure.

HOST A PET FOOD DRIVE

Do you know a location full of people who would love to support our client’s pets? You can host an AniMeals pet food drive! We will provide collection bins, flyers, QR Codes and coordination for pick-up and drop-off.

AniMeals is currently assisting clients with getting their furry friends preventative vet care such as wellness exams and vaccines. Volunteers are needed to assist with pet transportation to the vet clinic, drop-off and pick-up.
