About Josefa
Josefa, a Southside resident, started receiving Meals on Wheels a month after her husband passed away, almost 4 years ago. While Mrs. Josefa has undergone hardships, she has Meals on Wheels San Antonio to thank for the opportunity to age successfully in her home.
As the surviving spouse of a veteran, she has been able to receive healthy home-delivered meals as well as home repairs to fix accessibility to her bathroom for everyday use. These repairs are part of Meals on Wheels' mission to provide More Than A Meal to our clients.
Thanks to the San Antonio community's support, Meals on Wheels San Antonio provides More Than A Meal to nearly 4,000 homebound older adults and people with disabilities.
